Responsibilities Greet guests warmly, present menus confidently, and provide detailed descriptions of dishes and drinks to enhance their dining experience. Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring all special requests are noted. Serve food and beverages efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation, cleanliness, and sanitation. Process sales transactions accurately, including cash handling, credit card processing, and upselling to maximize sales opportunities. Assist with food preparation, cocktail mixing, wine service, and beverage presentation to elevate the guest experience. Maintain cleanliness in all service areas by bussing tables, resetting stations, and adhering to food safety standards. Build strong guest relations through attentive service, personalized recommendations (including OpenTable reservations), and upselling techniques to increase sales. Experience Prior food service experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is essential; fine dining or nightclub experience is highly valued. Demonstrated proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; cocktail experience and spirits knowledge are a plus. Strong skills in customer service, guest relations, and sales with the ability to upsell menu items effectively. Knowledge of food handling, sanitation practices, and food safety regulations required for safe food preparation and serving. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours while maintaining quality service. Experience with wine knowledge, beverage service including processing cash transactions, and basic math skills for accurate billing. Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays in a fast-paced environment that values teamwork and hospitality excellence.
