Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and friendly Server/Cashier to join our team in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for customer service and a strong understanding of food handling and safety practices. This role involves taking orders, serving food, handling cash transactions, and ensuring a clean and welcoming atmosphere for our guests. Experience in a japanese restaurant is a plus Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and take food and beverage orders efficiently. Prepare food items according to established recipes and standards. Operate the shift4 for order entry and cash handling. Upsell menu items to enhance the customer experience and increase sales. Ensure all food safety and sanitation guidelines are followed during preparation and service. Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, kitchen, and restroom facilities. Assist in bussing tables and resetting them for new guests. Handle cash transactions accurately, ensuring proper change is given. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing guest inquiries and concerns promptly. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders. Qualifications Previous experience in a quick service or fast food japanese restaurant preferred. Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor. Familiarity with POS Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently. Basic math skills for cash handling and sales transactions. Understanding of food safety regulations and sanitation practices. Ability to work in a team-oriented environment while maintaining individual responsibilities. Previous experience in the food industry or retail math knowledge is a plus.
