Responsibilities Greet guests warmly and assist with seating arrangements or buffet selections to enhance their breakfast experience Take and process food and beverage orders accurately using POS systems such as Micros or Aloha POS, including handling cash transactions and sales processing Serve breakfast items, beverages, spirits, and specialty drinks with professionalism and efficiency, including drink service and upselling opportunities Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, refilling stations, and ensuring food safety protocols are followed at all times Manage time effectively during busy breakfast hours to ensure prompt service and guest satisfaction Assist with food handling, food preparation support, and ensuring proper food safety practices are adhered to in accordance with industry standards Support guest relations by addressing inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and providing exceptional customer service throughout the dining experience Qualifications Previous food service experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is highly preferred, especially fine dining or hotel settings Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros or Aloha POS for sales transactions processing Strong customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude and the ability to upsell menu items effectively Knowledge of beverage service including wine, spirits, cocktails, and OpenTable reservation system is a plus Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during peak hours Basic math skills for cash handling, processing payments accurately, and managing sales transactions Ability to maintain sanitation standards and food safety practices in accordance with industry regulations Previous experience with bussing, host/hostess duties, or food preparation is advantageous Demonstrated hospitality skills with a focus on guest relations and creating welcoming environments Join us as a Hotel Breakfast Server where your lively spirit will brighten mornings for our guests!
