Duties Greet guests warmly and assist with seating arrangements, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere from the moment they arrive Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, and relay orders efficiently to the kitchen and bar staff Serve food and drinks promptly, including cocktail and spirits service, maintaining high standards of presentation and quality Process sales transactions accurately, including cash handling, credit card processing, and upselling to enhance guest experience and increase sales Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of dining areas, including bussing tables and resetting for new guests in accordance with food safety standards Provide expert wine knowledge and recommend beverage pairings to elevate the dining experience Engage with guests to ensure satisfaction, handle special requests or concerns professionally, and foster guest relations Requirements Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, ideally with fine dining or hospitality backgrounds Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; experience with OpenTable is a plus Demonstrated ability in beverage service, including cocktail mixing, spirits knowledge, and wine expertise Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours Ability to process cash transactions accurately while upselling menu items to maximize sales opportunities Food safety certification and understanding of sanitation practices required; food handling experience preferred Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly attitude and strong guest relations abilities Basic math skills for order calculations, change handling, and sales processing Previous experience in food industry roles such as host/hostess, bussing, cashiering or serving is highly desirable Join us to be part of a dynamic team that values your enthusiasm and dedication!
