Duties Greet guests warmly and provide outstanding customer service from seating to farewell Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Toast POS Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality Upsell menu items including wines, spirits, cocktails, and specialty dishes to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales Process cash and credit card transactions efficiently, ensuring accuracy in sales transactions processing Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in dining areas, bar stations, and service stations in compliance with food safety regulations Assist with food handling, food preparation support, bussing tables, and resetting tables for new guests Manage guest inquiries or concerns promptly to ensure a positive dining experience Support opening or closing duties as needed to ensure smooth restaurant operations Skills Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments; fine dining experience is a plus Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally Solid understanding of beverage service including spirits, wine knowledge, cocktail preparation, and drink service techniques Effective time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours Ability to upsell menu items confidently to maximize sales opportunities Basic math skills for processing payments accurately and handling cash transactions Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices within the food industry Experience with OpenTable reservations system is advantageous Ability to work collaboratively with kitchen staff and fellow servers in a fast-paced environment Strong guest relations skills with a friendly attitude that promotes guest loyalty Join us if you're passionate about hospitality and eager to deliver memorable dining experiences!
