Responsibilities Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing friendly and efficient seating assistance as a Host/Hostess if needed. Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring clarity and attention to detail. Serve food and beverages promptly, including cocktails, spirits, wine, and non-alcoholic drinks, demonstrating cocktail experience and beverage service expertise. Process sales transactions accurately, handling cash, credit cards, and other payment methods while maintaining accountability for cash handling. Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales through effective suggestive selling techniques. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and adhering to food safety protocols. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing guest inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and fostering positive guest relations. Assist with food preparation or kitchen support as needed to ensure timely delivery of orders in a fast-paced environment. Support team members with food handling, drink service, and other duties that contribute to smooth restaurant operations. Qualifications Previous food service experience in a restaurant setting; fine dining experience is a plus. Proficiency with POS systems Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours. Demonstrated ability in upselling menu items to maximize sales opportunities. Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices within the food industry. Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and hospitality excellence. Basic math skills for processing transactions accurately and managing bills confidently. Experience with food handling, bussing, serving, cashiering, or host/hostess duties preferred.
