Duties Greet guests warmly upon arrival, provide menus, and answer questions about menu items and specials. Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring clear communication with the kitchen staff. Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales through friendly suggestions. Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation. Manage guest needs throughout their visit, including refilling drinks, addressing concerns, and ensuring overall satisfaction. Clear tables efficiently by bussing dishes and maintaining cleanliness in dining areas. Assist with food handling, sanitation, and basic math calculations for cash handling or billing purposes. Qualifications Previous restaurant experience or food service background preferred; fine dining or nightclub experience is a plus. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable for order processing and cashiering. Strong customer service skills with the ability to build guest relations and handle diverse clientele. Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures. Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy shifts. Ability to upsell menu items confidently to maximize sales opportunities. Basic math skills for cash handling, billing accuracy, and inventory management.
