Duties Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm, providing detailed descriptions of dishes and beverages. Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable, ensuring clear communication with kitchen and bar staff. Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness. Upsell menu items including wines, spirits, cocktails, and specialty dishes to enhance guest experience and increase sales. Process cash and card transactions efficiently, handling cash handling responsibilities with accuracy and integrity. Maintain cleanliness of tables, dining areas, and service stations through bussing and sanitation practices. Provide excellent guest relations by addressing questions, resolving concerns promptly, and ensuring overall satisfaction throughout the dining experience. Requirements Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, including fine dining or nightclub settings. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; experience with OpenTable is a plus. Strong knowledge of beverage service including spirits, wine knowledge, cocktail preparation, and drink presentation. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and professionally. Ability to manage multiple tables efficiently through effective time management and organization skills. Basic math skills for processing sales transactions accurately. Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, food handling procedures, and proper food preparation techniques.
