We are an independent, locally owned family restaurant serving great food in a casual atmosphere in Brenham, Texas. This position requires an individual who likes working with customers in a positive and professional manner. Qualifications Proven experience in food service and restaurant environments Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction Proficiency in using POS systems, particularly Toast is a plus Knowledge of food safety and handling practices (ServSafe and TABC) Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced setting Experience in fine dining and culinary settings is a plus Basic math skills for handling transactions and cash register operations Responsibilities Greet and seat guests, providing excellent customer service throughout their dining experience. Take and process food and beverage orders accurately using POS systems such as Toast. Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are met while serving and handling food. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders. Manage guest inquiries and resolve any issues to enhance satisfaction. Maintain cleanliness of dining areas and assist with bussing tables as needed.
