Job Description
Job Overview We are looking for experienced servers who can continue working weekday lunch shifts after August. Many applicants are only available for lunch shifts during the summer. We are specifically seeking team members who will remain available for weekday lunch shifts beyond August and are interested in a long-term position. If you enjoy Korean and Japanese cuisine and are looking for a long-term opportunity, we'd love to hear from you. . Duties Greet guests warmly, provide menus, and assist with seating arrangements to ensure a smooth start to their experience Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring timely delivery Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and maximize sales opportunities Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of food safety, sanitation, and presentation Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities, while maintaining accountability Support food preparation, bussing tables, and maintaining cleanliness in dining areas to uphold sanitation standards Use reservation management tools like OpenTable to coordinate bookings and optimize seating flow Foster positive guest relations through attentive service, addressing needs promptly, and ensuring a memorable visit Experience Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly preferred Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus Experience in fine dining settings or nightclubs enhances your ability to deliver exceptional service Strong skills in customer service, guest relations, and upselling techniques are essential Knowledge of food handling, sanitation practices, and food safety regulations ensures safe service standards Ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts while maintaining attention to detail Prior host/hostess or serving experience contributes to seamless guest interactions and efficient workflow Embark on a rewarding journey where your passion for hospitality makes every guest's experience unforgettable!
