Deliver food to elementary cafeterias and serves lunch. This person must maintain a high standard of quality in food delivery, sanitation, and safety practices MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education and Certification Requirements High school graduate or GED equivalent Valid Texas Driver's License, a good driving record, and proof of insurance on vehicle used to travel to district Food Handlers Certificate required (certificate to be obtained within 7 days of employment) Candidate must have satisfactory outcome of fingerprinting background check Special Knowledge and Skills Ability to understand safety instructions Ability to be punctual and dependable Must be able to understand instructions and communicate in basic English MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

Responsible for loading food carts onto delivery truck Deliver food to elementary cafeterias as assigned Serve food to the campus students at the last delivery run Return to each school and pick up carts and returns to the Central Kitchen Assist with unloading carts Is responsible for cleaning carts Is responsible for unloading truck Assist in washing pots and pans at the Central Kitchen Maintain personal appearance and hygiene Follow safety and sanitation rules and regulations Maintain a clean and organized delivery truck Complete daily truck inspection Perform other duties as assigned, based on department needs Requires a basic knowledge of technology/computer skills Ability to use personal computer to access district programs, emails, and other resources Maintain a consistent professional demeanor and appearance Ensure compliance with the Texas Educator's Code of Ethics Daily attendance and punctuality at work are essential functions of the job Supervisory Responsibilities:
