• Part-time Overview We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Food Runner to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment.

The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that our guests receive their orders promptly and accurately, contributing to an exceptional dining experience. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for the food industry. Duties Deliver food and beverages from the kitchen to the dining area efficiently and accurately. Assist in food preparation and ensure that all dishes meet our quality standards. Utilize Toast POS systems for order management and processing. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and address any issues that arise. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including bussing tables after guests leave. Uphold food safety and sanitation standards in accordance with health regulations. Engage with customers to provide excellent service, including upselling menu items when appropriate. Handle cash transactions accurately while providing exceptional customer service. Requirements Previous experience in a quick service or fast food restaurant is preferred. Culinary experience or knowledge of food handling practices is a plus. Familiarity with Toast POS systems is advantageous. Strong time management skills and ability to work efficiently under pressure. Excellent customer service skills with a focus on enhancing guest satisfaction. Basic math skills for cash handling and retail math applications. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while maintaining individual responsibilities. Knowledge of sanitation practices and food safety regulations is essential.
