Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional guest services and ensuring a memorable dining experience. As a Server, you will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and maintaining a clean and organized dining area. Your ability to work effectively with guests and fellow team members is crucial to our success. Responsibilities Greet and welcome guests in a friendly manner, ensuring they feel comfortable and valued. Take accurate food and drink orders using the POS system, including OpenTable for reservations. Serve food and beverages promptly while adhering to sanitation standards. Handle cash transactions efficiently, including cash register operations and cash handling procedures. Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and service stations. Assist in setting up and breaking down the dining area for events or busy service periods. Provide knowledgeable recommendations on menu items to enhance the guest experience. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and address any guest concerns promptly. Uphold high standards of hospitality throughout each shift. Skills Strong knowledge of Japanese food. Experience in high end dining environment is preferred but not required. Excellent guest service skills with the ability to engage positively with patrons. Familiarity with POS systems, particularly OpenTable, is advantageous. Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail.
