Responsibilities Greet guests warmly and assist with seating arrangements, providing a positive first impression. Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS, ensuring all special requests are noted. Serve food and drinks efficiently, maintaining high standards of presentation and quality. Upsell menu items and beverage options to enhance guest experience and increase sales. Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties, while managing guest checks with precision. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, cleaning service areas, and adhering to food safety protocols. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery, supporting overall restaurant operations. Provide exceptional guest relations by addressing inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring customer satisfaction. Assist with food handling and basic food preparation when needed, supporting kitchen staff during busy periods. Manage openTable reservations and coordinate seating to optimize flow during peak hours. Qualifications Previous restaurant or food service experience is preferred, especially in fine dining or nightclub settings. Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices within the food industry. Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Demonstrated ability in guest services, including host/hostess experience or serving roles. Ability to upsell menu items confidently to maximize sales opportunities. Basic math skills for cash handling, billing accuracy, and transaction processing.
