Duties Greet guests warmly, provide menus, and assist with food and beverage selections to enhance their dining experience Take accurate orders using POS system, ensuring timely and correct delivery Upsell menu items and specials to maximize sales opportunities while maintaining guest satisfaction Serve food and beverages efficiently, adhering to food handling, sanitation, and safety standards Manage cash handling responsibilities including cashiering duties with precision and accountability Assist with food preparation, bussing tables, and maintaining cleanliness in dining areas to uphold sanitation standards Utilize reservation management system to coordinate seating arrangements and reduce wait times Qualifications Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, preferably with fine dining or nightclub settings Strong knowledge of POS systems; experience with Square is a plus Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build guest relations and handle guest inquiries professionally Culinary experience or background in food preparation is highly desirable Demonstrated time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively during busy hours Ability to perform basic math for cash handling, billing, and order accuracy Knowledge of food safety protocols, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures Previous host/hostess or serving experience is advantageous; familiarity with food industry standards is essential Join us in delivering outstanding service that keeps guests coming back!
