Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Server to join our vibrant hospitality team! As a Server, you will be the face of our restaurant, delivering exceptional guest experiences through attentive service, expert beverage and food knowledge, and a lively, welcoming attitude. Your role is vital in creating memorable moments for our guests, ensuring they feel valued and well-cared-for from the moment they arrive. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly upon arrival and guide them to their tables with enthusiasm. Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring all special requests are noted. Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation. Upsell menu items including cocktails, wines, spirits, and specialty dishes to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales. Process cash and credit card transactions accurately, handling cash handling duties with integrity. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in accordance with food safety regulations, including proper food handling and bussing tables promptly. Provide knowledgeable recommendations on wine pairings, spirits, and menu options to elevate the dining experience. Assist with opening or closing duties as needed, including setting up or breaking down service stations. Foster positive guest relations by addressing inquiries promptly and ensuring guest needs are met with professionalism. Collaborate seamlessly with kitchen staff and other team members to deliver smooth service during busy hours. Qualifications Previous food service experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is highly preferred; fine dining or nightclub experience is a plus. Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; familiarity with OpenTable is advantageous. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally. Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively during high-volume service periods. Knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail preparation, and beverage service techniques including drink presentation. Basic math skills for processing sales transactions accurately and handling cash responsibly. Experience with food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures. Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays in a fast-paced environment. Passion for hospitality combined with strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
