The Food Runner plays a crucial role in ensuring that our guests receive their orders promptly and accurately, enhancing their overall dining experience. This position requires excellent communication skills, a passion for customer service, and the ability to work collaboratively with kitchen and front-of-house staff. Responsibilities Deliver food and beverages from the kitchen to guests in a timely manner, ensuring accuracy of orders. Assist in setting up and breaking down dining room as needed. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the service area, including bussing tables and clearing dishes. Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation during peak service times. Provide exceptional guest services by addressing any requests or concerns promptly. Follow food handling and safety guidelines to ensure the highest standards of hygiene. Support food preparation tasks as needed, contributing to the overall efficiency of the kitchen team. Clean bathrooms and dining room floors Requirements Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred but not required. Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Knowledge of food handling practices and culinary terminology is a plus. Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude towards teamwork. Must be able to stand for long periods and lift items weighing up to 50 pounds.
