Duties Greet guests warmly, provide menu recommendations, and assist with special requests to enhance their dining experience Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring clarity and efficiency Serve food and drinks promptly, including cocktail and spirits service, maintaining high standards of presentation and hospitality Process sales transactions accurately, handle cash and credit payments, and manage open/close cash drawers responsibly Upsell menu items including wines, spirits, and desserts to maximize sales opportunities while ensuring guest satisfaction Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and adhering to food safety protocols Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery, supporting smooth restaurant operations Qualifications Previous food service or restaurant experience preferred; fine dining experience is a plus Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; OpenTable experience is advantageous Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously Knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail preparation, and beverage service techniques Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy periods Basic math skills for processing transactions accurately and managing cash handling responsibilities Food safety certification or willingness to obtain certification upon hire Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays in a fast-paced environment Join us in creating memorable dining experiences!
