Process sales transactions efficiently, including cash handling, credit card processing, and upselling to enhance guest experience. Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining proper food safety and sanitation standards. Assist with food preparation, plating, and presentation when needed, ensuring quality and consistency. Manage beverage service including spirits, wine knowledge, cocktail preparation, and drink presentation. Support guest relations by addressing questions or concerns promptly and professionally to ensure satisfaction. Skills Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments with a focus on fine dining or casual dining settings. Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable for seamless sales processing. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to upsell menu items confidently. Culinary experience and beverage expertise including spirits, wine knowledge, cocktail mixing, and drink service. Effective time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours. Basic math skills for accurate check splitting, cash handling, and sales transactions processing. Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures.
