Overview Join our vibrant hospitality team as a Cocktail Waitress, where your energetic personality and exceptional customer service skills will create memorable experiences for our guests. In this role, you will serve expertly crafted cocktails and beverages in a lively, upscale environment, ensuring every guest feels welcomed and valued. Your ability to manage multiple tables with efficiency and grace will be key to delivering outstanding service that keeps guests coming back. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your hospitality skills while working in a dynamic nightlife or fine dining setting. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly upon arrival and take their drink orders with enthusiasm and professionalism Prepare and serve a variety of cocktails, beverages, and bar snacks following standard recipes and presentation guidelines Use POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to process orders accurately and efficiently Upsell premium drinks, specials, and food items to enhance guest experience and increase sales Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the bar area, adhering to food safety regulations Manage cash handling responsibilities including cashiering duties with accuracy and accountability Collaborate with kitchen staff and hosts/hostesses to ensure smooth service flow during busy hours Assist with bussing tables, resetting stations, and supporting overall restaurant operations as needed Demonstrate excellent guest relations by responding promptly to guest inquiries and resolving issues professionally Utilize reservation platforms like OpenTable for managing bookings and guest seating preferences Qualifications Previous experience in food service, bartending, or hospitality roles preferred, especially in fine dining or nightclub environments Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; experience with OpenTable is a plus Strong knowledge of food handling, sanitation standards, and food safety protocols Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during peak hours Demonstrated ability in upselling beverages and food items to maximize sales opportunities Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly, energetic demeanor Basic math skills for cash handling, billing, and inventory management Experience in serving, bartending, or host/hostess roles within the food industry is highly desirable Knowledge of culinary techniques or kitchen experience is a bonus but not required Join us to be part of an exciting team where your enthusiasm fuels memorable guest experiences!
