```Job Overview``` We are seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Server to join our team. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional dining experiences for our guests. - Greet and seat guests in a friendly and professional manner
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and promptly
- Deliver food and beverages to tables in a timely manner
- Ensure guest satisfaction by providing attentive and personalized service
- Answer questions about menu items, including ingredients and preparation methods
- Upsell additional menu items or specials to enhance the dining experience
- Process payments using cash handling procedures
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure accurate order preparation
- Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, including tables, chairs, and floors
- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines ```Skills``` To be successful in this role, you should possess the following skills:
- Strong retail math skills for accurately processing payments
- Basic math skills for calculating bills and making change
- Knowledge of food safety practices to ensure a safe dining environment
- Previous experience in the food service industry preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems for order entry and payment processing
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with guests and team members
- Ability to handle cash transactions with accuracy and integrity
- Culinary knowledge is a plus but not required
- Experience with Aloha POS system is a plus but not required
