Server/Waitress

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for providing exceptional customer service and have a strong understanding of food and beverage offerings. As a Server, you will be responsible for ensuring that guests have an enjoyable dining experience by delivering prompt, friendly, and efficient service. Responsibilities Greet and seat guests in a friendly manner, providing menus and information about daily specials. Take accurate food and drink orders using the POS system and relay them to the kitchen staff. Serve food and beverages promptly while ensuring the presentation meets restaurant standards. Check in with guests throughout their meal to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns. Process payments accurately using cash registers or POS systems, handling cash and credit transactions responsibly. Maintain cleanliness of tables, dining areas, and service stations throughout the shift. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and assist with any special requests from guests. Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines while handling food items. Skills Strong customer service skills with a focus on hospitality and guest satisfaction. Previous experience in the food industry or food service is preferred but not required. Familiarity with cash registers and POS systems for processing orders efficiently. Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while also being able to work independently when necessary. Excellent communication skills to interact positively with guests and team members.
