Hospitality Server Lumos - Ember's Grill Lumos is not your typical restaurant. We are a high-energy family entertainment venue featuring our Ember's Grill restaurant, bowling lanes, axe throwing, arcade, attractions, events, and more. Our Hospitality Servers play a key role in creating a memorable experience for every guest. We are looking for upbeat, energetic, friendly people who thrive in a fast-paced environment and understand that hospitality is more than taking orders — it is creating moments. As a Hospitality Server, you will provide service throughout Ember's Grill, the bowling lanes, and other guest areas. This role requires strong multitasking skills, attention to detail, clear communication, and the ability to move quickly while staying professional and welcoming. Our servers must be adaptable, aware, and able to deliver consistent service across multiple areas of the venue. - Provide friendly, attentive, and efficient service to guests in Ember's Grill, bowling lanes, axe throwing areas, and patio.
- Greet guests with enthusiasm and create a welcoming experience from the first interaction.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders and enter them correctly into the sytem.
- Check on guests regularly and anticipate needs before being asked.
- Safely serve alcoholic beverages while following all TABC guidelines, ID verification procedures, and company alcohol policies.
- Maintain strong knowledge of the menu, daily offerings, drink options, and venue attractions.
- Support birthday parties, group events, corporate outings, and high-volume guest flow as needed.
- Communicate clearly with kitchen, bar, host, bowling, axe throwing, and management teams.
- Pre-bus and reset tables, lanes, patio areas, and guest spaces quickly and efficiently.
- Handle guest concerns professionally and involve management when needed.
- Work with urgency during peak times while staying calm, positive, and guest-focused.
- Support teammates and help create a strong team environment.
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and company service standards. What We Are Looking For
- At least 1 year of serving experience in a high-volume restaurant is required .
- Experience in family entertainment, bowling centers, event venues, or high-volume hospitality environments is a plus.
- Must be naturally upbeat, energetic, friendly, and comfortable engaging with guests.
- Must be able to work in a loud, fast-paced, high-energy environment.
- Strong multitasking and communication skills are required.
- Must be dependable, professional, and team-oriented.
- Must be comfortable serving multiple types of guest experiences, including traditional dining, bowling lanes, axe throwing bays, birthdays, and events.
- Must have or be able to obtain a valid TABC certification .
- Must have or be able to obtain a valid Food Handler certification . Availability Requirements
- Must be available to work weekends and holidays . Open availability preferred during the summer season.
- Scheduling flexibility is important due to the event-based and entertainment-focused nature of the business.
