The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service and a strong understanding of the food industry. As a Server, you will be responsible for ensuring that guests have an enjoyable dining experience by delivering high-quality service, taking orders accurately, and providing knowledgeable recommendations. Duties Greet and seat guests in a friendly and welcoming manner. Present menus and provide detailed information about food and beverage offerings, including daily specials. Take accurate food and drink orders using POS systems, such as OpenTable. Upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales. Serve food and beverages promptly while ensuring all orders are correct. Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their meal and address any concerns or requests promptly. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including resetting tables for new guests. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and adherence to food safety standards. Process payments using cash registers or POS systems efficiently. Qualifications Previous experience in the food service industry is preferred, particularly in fine dining environments. Familiarity with culinary terms and menu items is advantageous. Proficient in using POS systems; experience with OpenTable is a plus. Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations. Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required.
