Serve food and beverages efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation, cleanliness, and sanitation. Process cash and credit card transactions accurately, ensuring proper handling of cash registers and POS systems. Assist with food handling, bussing tables, and supporting kitchen staff during busy periods to ensure smooth operations. Maintain thorough knowledge of menu offerings, including wine knowledge and spirits experience to answer guest questions confidently. Uphold food safety standards and sanitation protocols to ensure a safe dining environment for all guests. Foster guest relations by providing exceptional customer service, addressing concerns promptly, and creating a welcoming atmosphere. Support team members with general restaurant duties such as cleaning, setting tables, and managing guest flow during peak hours. Qualifications Proven experience in food service or hospitality roles such as waiter/waitress, host/hostess, or bartender within a restaurant or nightclub setting. Familiarity with POS systems including Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms; experience with OpenTable is a plus. Strong knowledge of beverage service including cocktails, spirits, wine knowledge, and drink presentation. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Demonstrated ability in upselling menu items to increase sales while ensuring guest satisfaction. Basic math skills for processing transactions accurately and handling cash responsibly. Knowledge of food safety protocols and sanitation standards essential for maintaining a clean dining area.
