Responsibilities Greet guests warmly, present menus, and provide detailed descriptions of dishes and drinks to enhance their dining experience Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable, ensuring all special requests are noted and fulfilled Serve food and beverages efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness Upsell menu items including wines, spirits, cocktails, and specialty dishes to maximize sales opportunities Process cash and card transactions accurately, handling cash handling responsibilities with integrity Maintain sanitation standards by adhering to food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures Assist with bussing tables, cleaning work areas, and supporting kitchen staff during busy periods Skills Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, including fine dining or nightclub settings Strong knowledge of beverage service, spirits, wine pairings, and cocktail preparation Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms for sales transaction processing Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build guest relations and handle guest inquiries professionally Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks during high-volume shifts Basic math skills for processing payments accurately and managing sales transactions Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices in the food industry Experience in upselling techniques to enhance guest satisfaction and increase revenue Embark on a rewarding journey in hospitality where your energy, professionalism, and passion for service make every guest's visit memorable.
