Job Description

Server / Barista /
Ice Cream Shop Associate Location:
Heather's cafe & coffee shop We are looking for a friendly, energetic, and dependable team member to join our growing team! This position is cross-trained in multiple areas of our business, including serving customers, preparing coffee and specialty drinks, and assisting in our ice cream shop. This is a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same. We are looking for someone who enjoys working with people, learns quickly, and is willing to jump in wherever needed to help the team succeed.
Schedule:
Hours will vary based on business needs and employee availability.
Typical operating shifts are:
Tuesday-Friday:
5:30 AM - 3:00
PM Saturday:
8:00 AM - 3:00 PM Employees may not be scheduled every operating day and can expect varying days off throughout the week.
Sunday and Monday:
Closed Flexibility and open availability are preferred.
Responsibilities:
Greet and serve customers with a positive attitude Prepare coffee, espresso beverages, and specialty drinks Scoop and serve ice cream Take customer orders and process payments Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the shop Restock supplies and assist with opening and closing duties Work efficiently during busy rush periods Support teammates and assist in multiple areas as needed
Qualifications:
Friendly, outgoing, and customer-focused personality Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Quick learner with a willingness to be cross-trained Dependable and punctual Works well with others and contributes to a positive team atmosphere Open availability and flexibility with scheduling Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds •Must obtain food handlers and TABC certifications Preferred but
Not Required:
Previous experience in customer service, food service, coffee shops, restaurants, or ice cream shops If you enjoy meeting new people, staying busy, and being part of a fun team environment, we'd love to hear from you!
