Server/Cashier

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server/Cashier to join our team in a fast-casual dinner environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service while efficiently handling food orders and cash transactions. This role requires a friendly demeanor, strong communication skills, and the ability to work well under pressure. Duties Greet customers warmly and take their food and beverage orders accurately. Process cash and credit transactions using a Point of Sale (POS) system. Ensure compliance with food safety and handling regulations to maintain a clean and safe environment. Prepare food items as needed, adhering to culinary standards and presentation guidelines. Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the dinner area, including dining tables and service counters. Provide recommendations on menu items based on customer preferences. Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues in a professional manner. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service during peak hours. Experience Previous experience in a restaurant or quick-service fast food environment is preferred but not required. Familiarity with cash handling procedures and basic math skills for accurate transaction processing. Knowledge of food safety practices and food handling regulations is a plus. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with customers and team members.
