Overview Join our dynamic hospitality team as a Food Runner Busser, where your energy and enthusiasm will elevate the guest experience from the moment they arrive. In this vital role, you'll serve as the bridge between the kitchen and the dining area, ensuring food is delivered promptly and tables are kept clean and inviting. Responsibilities Deliver freshly prepared food from the kitchen to guest tables efficiently, maintaining presentation standards and food safety protocols. Clear and reset tables swiftly to ensure a smooth flow of service and a clean dining environment. Assist servers by bussing tables, refilling water glasses, and providing additional support during busy periods. Maintain cleanliness in the dining area, including wiping down surfaces, organizing utensils, and ensuring overall tidiness. Support kitchen staff with basic food handling and preparation tasks when needed, adhering to safety standards. Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order accuracy and efficient billing processes. Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate service flow and address guest needs promptly. Experience Prior experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are essential. Familiarity with food handling, bussing, and basic food preparation enhances your ability to succeed in this role. Experience with POS systems like Aloha or Micros is a plus; training will be provided if necessary. Previous banquet or hotel service experience can be advantageous for managing diverse guest expectations. Strong communication skills and a customer-focused attitude are vital for creating memorable guest experiences. Knowledge of food safety standards ensures compliance with health regulations and guest safety. Hospitality or culinary background supports a deeper understanding of service excellence.
