The ideal candidate will possess a passion for providing exceptional customer service and have a keen understanding of the food and beverage industry. As a Server, you will be responsible for creating memorable dining experiences for our guests while ensuring efficient service and adherence to food safety standards. Duties Greet and welcome guests with a friendly demeanor, ensuring a positive first impression. Take accurate food and beverage orders using Aloha POS or Micros POS systems. Provide detailed menu descriptions, including daily specials, to enhance guest experience and encourage upselling. Deliver food and beverages promptly while ensuring presentation meets fine dining standards. Monitor guest satisfaction throughout the meal, addressing any concerns or requests promptly. Process payments accurately, handling cash and credit transactions with attention to detail. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including bussing tables and resetting for new guests. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and adherence to sanitation standards. Assist in training new staff members on service protocols and restaurant procedures. Skills Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and satisfaction. Experience with Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar point-of-sale systems is preferred. Culinary experience or knowledge of food preparation techniques is an asset. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during peak hours. Ability to upsell menu items effectively through engaging communication. Familiarity with OpenTable reservations system is a plus. Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and billing processes. Knowledge of food safety regulations and sanitation practices within the food service industry. Previous experience in fine dining or upscale restaurant settings is highly desirable. Strong teamwork abilities combined with the capability to work independently when required.
