Server 1500 Research Forest Drive, Shenandoah, TX 77381 Part-time, Full-time Part-time, Full-time Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and attentive Server to join our vibrant restaurant team! As a key member of our hospitality staff, you will deliver exceptional guest experiences by providing friendly, efficient, and knowledgeable service. Your enthusiasm for food, beverages, and guest relations will help create memorable dining moments. The ideal candidate is passionate about food service, possesses excellent communication skills, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. This role offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your culinary knowledge, sales skills, and hospitality expertise while working in a lively, customer-focused setting. Duties Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm to set a positive tone for their dining experience Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring all special requests are noted Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness Upsell menu items including wines, spirits, cocktails, and desserts to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales Process transactions accurately using POS systems like OpenTable or other cash handling tools, including cash, credit cards, and digital payments Maintain thorough knowledge of menu offerings, including food safety standards, wine pairings, cocktail recipes, and food preparation details Clear tables promptly by bussing dishes and assisting with sanitation procedures to uphold cleanliness standards Assist with food handling and basic food preparation when needed in coordination with kitchen staff Foster positive guest relations through attentive service, addressing any concerns promptly to ensure satisfaction Support team members by sharing responsibilities such as host/hostess duties or assisting with food industry best practices Qualifications Experience in food service or restaurant environments; fine dining experience is a plus Familiarity with Clover POS system or similar platforms Strong knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktails, and food safety protocols Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and process sales efficiently Basic math skills for order calculations and payment processing Knowledge of sanitation standards and proper food handling procedures Join us to be part of a dynamic team dedicated to delivering outstanding dining experiences!
