Take accurate food and beverage orders using Aloha POS, ensuring all special requests are noted. Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation, food safety, and sanitation. Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and maximize sales opportunities. Check in with guests throughout their meal to ensure satisfaction, address any concerns promptly, and provide personalized guest relations. Clear tables, bus tables as needed, and assist with food handling and sanitation procedures to maintain a clean dining environment. Collaborate with kitchen staff and fellow servers to coordinate timely delivery of orders in a fine dining or nightclub setting. Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities, while adhering to POS protocols. Maintain knowledge of the menu, wine list, and restaurant policies to answer guest questions confidently. Support host/hostess duties when necessary by managing reservations through OpenTable or similar systems. Qualifications Previous restaurant experience or food service background preferred. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; experience with OpenTable is advantageous. Strong customer service skills with a friendly, energetic demeanor that creates welcoming guest interactions. Excellent time management abilities to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours. Knowledge of food safety, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures required for safe service. Ability to upsell menu items confidently while maintaining professionalism under pressure. Basic math skills for cash handling and billing accuracy; experience with cashiering is beneficial. Culinary or kitchen experience can enhance understanding of food preparation processes. Strong communication skills for effective guest relations and team collaboration in fast-paced environments like fine dining or nightclubs.
