Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Prep/Server to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in the kitchen, assisting with food preparation, ensuring that all ingredients are ready for cooking, and serving customers with the satisfactory and care we provide in our restaurant. This position is essential for maintaining the high standards of our restaurant and catering services. Tips are included and are pooled with everyone Responsibilities Assist in the preparation of meals according to menu specifications and dietary requirements. Help maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen and food service areas. Support the culinary team with food preparation tasks, including chopping, slicing, and marinating ingredients. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and service. Participate in menu planning by providing input on seasonal ingredients and dish ideas. Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure food quality and safety standards are met. Assist with catering events as needed, ensuring that all food is prepared and presented beautifully. Communication skills. Able to communicate dietary restrictions from customers to kitchen. Skills Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary skills. Experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred. Ability to work efficiently in a high-pressure setting while maintaining attention to detail. Familiarity with meal preparation processes, including portion control and ingredient handling. Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards helping others in the kitchen. Basic understanding of menu planning and catering operations is a plus. Commitment to following dietary department guidelines when preparing meals for specific dietary needs.
