Overview We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced dining environment. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional guest experiences by providing outstanding customer service, ensuring food safety, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and sanitation. Your ability to manage time effectively, upsell menu items, and create memorable dining experiences will contribute to the overall success of our establishment. Duties Greet and welcome guests with a friendly demeanor, ensuring they feel valued and appreciated. Take accurate food and beverage orders using Aloha POS or Micros POS systems, ensuring clarity and attention to detail. Provide recommendations on menu items, including specials and pairings, to enhance the dining experience through effective upselling techniques. Serve food and beverages promptly while adhering to proper food handling and safety protocols. Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their meal, addressing any concerns or requests promptly. Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including bussing tables and resetting them for new guests. Process payments accurately using cash handling skills and basic math proficiency. Uphold sanitation standards in accordance with health regulations, ensuring a safe dining environment for guests. Qualifications Previous experience in food service or restaurant settings is preferred; fine dining experience is a plus. Familiarity with Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable systems is advantageous. Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a busy environment. Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and satisfaction. Knowledge of food safety practices and culinary experience is beneficial. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated. Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and order processing are essential. Experience as a host/host or in guest services is desirable but not mandatory.
