Overview We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced dining environment. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for providing exceptional customer service and have experience in the food industry. As a Server, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our guests have an enjoyable dining experience by delivering high-quality service and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere. Duties Greet and seat guests in a friendly and professional manner. Take food and beverage orders accurately using the Aloha POS or Micros POS systems. Provide detailed menu information, including daily specials and promotions, to enhance guest experience. Upsell menu items and suggest pairings to increase sales. Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages to tables while maintaining proper presentation standards. Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their dining experience and address any concerns promptly. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow and timely food preparation. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including bussing tables and resetting them for new guests. Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe dining environment. Assist with cashiering duties as needed, including cash handling and basic math calculations for guest checks. Requirements Previous restaurant experience preferred, particularly in fine dining or nightclub settings. Strong customer service skills with an emphasis on guest relations and satisfaction. Familiarity with food handling practices, sanitation standards, and food safety regulations. Experience with POS systems such as Aloha or Micros is highly desirable. Culinary experience or knowledge of food preparation is a plus. Excellent time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a busy environment. Basic math skills required for accurate cash handling and check processing. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being able to work independently when necessary. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the restaurant's schedule.
