Position Overview The Pines is seeking experienced Fine Dining Servers to join our hospitality team. This role is responsible for delivering exceptional guest experiences, guiding guests through our menu offerings, maintaining elevated service standards, and ensuring every guest receives warm, personalized hospitality throughout their visit. Successful candidates understand that great service goes far beyond taking orders. They are confident communicators, attentive professionals, skilled multitaskers, and genuine hospitality providers who take pride in creating memorable experiences for every guest. This position offers the opportunity to work alongside a talented culinary and hospitality team while developing skills within a high-performance fine dining environment. Both part-time and full-time opportunities may be available depending on business needs. Key Responsibilities Guest Experience & Hospitality Deliver exceptional hospitality throughout every stage of the guest experience. Create memorable dining experiences through attentiveness, professionalism, and anticipation of guest needs. Build meaningful guest relationships while maintaining a polished and professional presence. Handle guest concerns and special requests with confidence and grace. Ensure every table receives consistent and exceptional service from arrival through departure. Represent The Pines brand and hospitality standards with professionalism. Food & Beverage Knowledge Develop extensive knowledge of all menu items, ingredients, preparation methods, and culinary concepts. Confidently guide guests through menu selections and dining experiences. Provide detailed descriptions of dishes, ingredients, preparation techniques, and seasonal offerings. Make informed wine, cocktail, and beverage pairing recommendations. Maintain current knowledge of menu updates, specials, and featured items. Participate in ongoing menu and service education. Service Execution Execute service standards with consistency and precision. Accurately enter orders and manage table progression. Coordinate food and beverage timing to ensure a seamless guest experience. Monitor guest needs throughout service and proactively address opportunities to enhance their experience. Ensure food and beverage presentations meet company standards. Perform effectively during busy service periods while maintaining attention to detail. Dining Room Standards Maintain cleanliness, organization, and professionalism throughout the dining room. Assist with opening, closing, and side work responsibilities. Properly set, clear, and reset tables according to service standards. Ensure service stations remain stocked, clean, and organized. Maintain a polished appearance and professional demeanor at all times. Teamwork & Communication Collaborate closely with bartenders, support staff, hosts, managers, and culinary teams. Communicate effectively with both front-of-house and back-of-house team members. Assist teammates during busy periods to ensure smooth operations. Maintain a positive attitude and team-first mentality. Accept coaching and feedback professionally. Contribute to a culture of hospitality, accountability, and continuous improvement. Qualifications Required Minimum 2 years of serving experience. Minimum 3 years of restaurant or hospitality experience. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail and commitment to guest satisfaction. Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 pounds. Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. Professional appearance and demeanor. Preferred Fine dining or upscale hospitality experience. Wine, cocktail, and beverage knowledge. Food Handler Certification. Experience with Toast POS systems. Knowledge of wine pairings and elevated service standards. Experience working in chef-driven restaurants. Compensation & Benefits Compensation varies based on experience, performance, availability, and leadership potential.
