JOB TITLE
Server Assistant PAY:

POSITION SUMMARY
: At Hearth and Hill, we believe that great hospitality lives in the details, and our Server Assistants are at the heart of it. As a vital part of our front-of-house team, you'll help create the warm, welcoming experience that makes our Park City location a true neighborhood gathering spot. You're not just clearing plates, you're setting the stage for moments that matter. In this role, you'll work alongside our servers, bartenders, and managers to keep the dining room flowing with energy and intention. From ensuring every guest's water glass is full to resetting a table with care and speed, your hustle and attention to detail directly shape the way our guests feel from the moment they sit down to the moment they walk out the door. RESPONSIBILITIES
Greet guests, welcome them into our space Present professionalism at all times in manor and appearance, relating to HH Dress and Grooming standards Perform shift opening checklist and prepare dining room for service Attends pre-service and stays current with restaurant knowledge through continued training Maintain water levels throughout service Maintain cleanliness of server/busser stations, polishing areas and dining room Ensure tables are cleared and ready for next course; remove anything and everything that is no longer being used Bring used dishes and silver to dish pit, sort and stack dishes, put silver in soaking bin Help maintain overall dining room cleanliness from opening to closing Adhere to sanitation and safety policies Coordinate and communicate proactively with all positions Proactively communicate with Host team regarding resetting tables and flow of dining room Promptly communicate with server regarding requests from guests Assist with polishing glassware and silverware When guests depart, promptly clean, reset and straighten tables. Check floor and spot sweep if necessary Complete closing duty checklist. Support other staff in any other tasks that require completion or are asked by Manager

CREDENTIAL AND EXPERIENCE
Knowledge of relevant health & safety regulations & procedures Food handlers permit
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Ability to stand for extended periods of time Ability to bend, lift, push & carry heavy objects Ability to carry 50 pounds, demonstrating single-hand tray service proficiency Thank guests as they leave Take out trash and sort recycling
