Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and friendly Server/Cashier to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment, taking orders, processing transactions, and ensuring a positive dining experience for our guests. Your ability to upsell menu items and handle cash transactions accurately will contribute to the overall success of our café. Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and take their orders efficiently. Process payments using the Aloha POS system or other point-of-sale systems. Handle cash and credit transactions with accuracy and attention to detail. Provide information about menu items, including daily specials and promotions. Upsell additional items to enhance the customer experience and increase sales. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, kitchen, and cashier station. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery. Address customer inquiries or concerns promptly and professionally. Qualifications Previous experience in the food industry, preferably in a café or restaurant setting. Familiarity with cash handling procedures and point-of-sale systems (Aloha POS experience is a plus). Strong sales skills with the ability to upsell menu items effectively. Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to assist others as needed. Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
