Overview Join our vibrant hospitality team as a Food Runner, where your energy and enthusiasm will help create memorable dining experiences for our guests. In this dynamic role, you will serve as a vital link between the kitchen and the front of house, ensuring that food reaches guests promptly and accurately. Your positive attitude and attention to detail will contribute to a lively, welcoming atmosphere that keeps guests coming back. Responsibilities Deliver prepared dishes from the kitchen to guests efficiently, maintaining food quality and presentation standards Assist servers by bussing tables, clearing dishes, and resetting tables to ensure smooth service flow Communicate clearly with kitchen staff regarding special requests or dietary needs using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS Support food preparation tasks when needed, including plating or garnishing under chef supervision Ensure food safety and proper handling procedures are followed at all times during service Maintain cleanliness and organization of service stations and dining areas throughout shifts Provide excellent guest service by greeting guests warmly and responding promptly to their needs or questions Qualifications Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or hospitality environments preferred but not required Knowledge of food handling safety standards and proper sanitation practices Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus Familiarity with banquet service, bussing, cooking, or kitchen operations is advantageous Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanor to engage with guests and team members effectively Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting trays or carrying dishes comfortably Hotel or culinary experience can enhance your ability to excel in this role Embark on a rewarding journey in the hospitality industry where your dedication makes a difference!
