Server/Waiter

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional guest experiences by delivering high-quality service in a fast-paced environment. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that guests feel welcome, valued, and satisfied throughout their dining experience. Responsibilities Greet and seat guests promptly, providing menus and information about daily specials. Take accurate food and beverage orders using the POS system. Serve food and beverages in a timely manner while ensuring presentation meets our culinary standards. Assist guests with any inquiries or special requests, ensuring their needs are met. Process payments accurately, including cash handling and basic math calculations for change. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate order delivery. Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and service stations. Uphold guest service standards by anticipating needs and providing assistance as necessary. Skills Previous experience in the food industry is preferred, with a strong emphasis on customer service skills. Familiarity with POS systems for order entry and payment processing. Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately. Strong sales abilities to promote menu items effectively. Excellent communication skills to interact positively with guests and team members. Knowledge of OpenTable or similar reservation systems is a plus. A passion for culinary arts and guest services that enhances the dining experience.
