Restaurant Food Runner/Busser- Mexican Seafood Restaurant

Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Food Runner/Busser at Mariscos Cancun Seafood and Grill. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in enhancing the dining experience for our guests by assisting in food delivery and maintaining the cleanliness of our restaurant.

Responsibilities:

Food Running:

Assist servers in delivering dishes to tables promptly and accurately. Ensure that each dish is presented with attention to detail and matches the order specifications. Coordinate with kitchen staff and servers to ensure efficient food delivery and guest satisfaction.

Table Maintenance:

Clear and reset tables efficiently to provide a clean and inviting dining environment for guests. Remove used plates, utensils, and glassware from tables promptly. Refill water glasses, salsa, and other condiments as needed, and attend to any additional requests from guests. Assistance to

Servers:

Provide support to servers by delivering additional items such as straws, lime wedges, or extra napkins as requested by guests. Collaborate with servers to ensure that orders are accurately delivered and that any special requests or dietary restrictions are accommodated.

Sanitation and Hygiene:

Maintain cleanliness and organization in the dining area, including wiping down tables, chairs, and countertops. Dispose of trash in designated areas and ensure that the restaurant meets health and safety standards at all times. Assist in keeping serving stations stocked with clean dishes, utensils, and other necessary items.

Teamwork:

Work closely with other members of the restaurant team to provide efficient and friendly service to our guests. Communicate effectively with coworkers and supervisors to ensure smooth restaurant operations. Assist in various tasks as needed to support the overall success of the restaurant.

Requirements:

Previous experience in a similar role within the restaurant industry is preferred but not required. Excellent communication skills in both English and Spanish with the ability to interact warmly with guests and coworkers. Strong attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. Pay:

$18.00 - $20.00 per hour
