Responsibilities Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring clear communication with the kitchen and bar staff Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation Manage table settings, bussing, and resetting tables efficiently to ensure smooth flow of service Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties, while adhering to food safety and sanitation standards Maintain comprehensive knowledge of menu offerings, including ingredients and preparation methods, to assist guests with selections Support food preparation and kitchen staff when needed, demonstrating teamwork in a fast-paced environment such as a nightclub or fine dining restaurant Qualifications Previous experience in food service or restaurant roles preferred; experience with fine dining or nightlife venues is a plus Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS; experience with OpenTable is advantageous Strong customer service skills with the ability to build guest relations and handle diverse customer needs Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy hours Knowledge of food handling, sanitation procedures, and food safety regulations Ability to perform basic math accurately for cash handling and billing purposes Experience in serving, bussing, hosting/hostess duties, or hospitality roles is desirable Basic understanding of food industry operations including food preparation and food safety protocols Embark on a rewarding career where your enthusiasm makes every guest feel valued!
