As a Server, you will be the face of our establishment, delivering exceptional guest experiences through friendly service, expert knowledge of our menu, and efficient handling of orders. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing attentive and personalized service throughout their visit Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities Assist with food handling, sanitation, and proper food preparation procedures to ensure safety standards are met Clear tables efficiently, bus dishes, and reset tables to maintain a clean dining area Manage cash handling responsibilities accurately, including cashiering and processing payments with openTable or similar reservation systems Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders in a fine dining or casual setting Maintain comprehensive knowledge of menu items, including ingredients and preparation methods, to answer guest questions confidently Uphold food safety standards and sanitation practices in accordance with health regulations Support guest relations by addressing inquiries or concerns promptly and professionally Requirements Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, including serving or host/hostess roles Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; experience with OpenTable is a plus Strong culinary knowledge and understanding of food handling, sanitation, and safety protocols Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours Ability to upsell menu items confidently while maintaining genuine guest engagement Previous fine dining or nightclub experience is advantageous but not mandatory Basic math skills for cash handling, billing accuracy, and transaction processing Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed Knowledge of food industry standards related to serving, bussing, sanitation, and guest relations Join us in creating memorable dining experiences where hospitality meets excellence!
