Duties Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with seating arrangements to create a positive first impression Serve food and beverages promptly and accurately, including wine, cocktails, and non-alcoholic drinks, adhering to proper beverage service standards Set up banquet tables with appropriate linens, utensils, glassware, and centerpieces to ensure an elegant presentation Clear plates, glasses, and silverware efficiently during events while maintaining cleanliness and organization Provide attentive guest services by responding promptly to requests for additional items or assistance Uphold food safety standards by handling food properly, maintaining cleanliness, and following health regulations Assist with bussing tables and resetting areas quickly between courses or events to ensure smooth operations Support catering staff with food preparation or setup as needed, demonstrating versatility in the food service environment Maintain knowledge of menu items, including wine pairings and specialty beverages, to enhance guest experience Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately for beverage sales or billing purposes when required Experience Previous experience in the food industry or hospitality setting is highly preferred, especially in banquet or fine dining environments Demonstrated ability to provide excellent guest services and foster positive guest relations Familiarity with food handling procedures, beverage service techniques, and basic math skills for order accuracy Knowledge of wine types, drink service etiquette, and catering operations enhances performance in this role Experience with POS systems or cash handling is advantageous but not mandatory Strong communication skills coupled with a friendly demeanor are essential for success in this energetic role Prior banquet experience or catering background is a plus but not required; enthusiasm for learning is valued Embark on a rewarding journey where your hospitality skills shine!
