Duties Safely transport prepared food from the kitchen to tables or designated areas, ensuring presentation quality Assist with food preparation tasks such as plating or garnishing when needed to support kitchen staff Clear and clean tables efficiently, bussing dishes and resetting tables for new guests Maintain cleanliness of service stations, ensuring compliance with food safety and sanitation standards Support servers by delivering beverages, condiments, or additional orders promptly and accurately Handle guest inquiries courteously and provide excellent in-person customer service to enhance guest satisfaction Assist with basic food handling tasks and adhere to all food safety protocols during service Skills Prior experience in food service, restaurant environment, or hospitality preferred but not required; eagerness to learn is key Strong communication skills and friendly phone etiquette for guest interactions Ability to perform basic math for order accuracy and cash handling when necessary Knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus; familiarity with OpenTable is beneficial Basic knife skills, food preparation, dishwashing, and cleaning expertise are advantageous Experience with beverage preparation, coffee service, or banquet setups enhances your versatility Demonstrated ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail and guest relations Join us as a Food Runner and be part of a vibrant team dedicated to delivering memorable dining experiences!
