Job Description
Host — Job Summary Juicy Bucket is hiring a friendly and dependable Host to join our team. The Host is responsible for welcoming guests, managing the seating and waiting list, answering phone calls, taking and packing takeout orders, and helping the front-of-house team provide smooth and friendly service. This position earns an hourly wage plus tip-out and personal tips. The ideal candidate should be organized, professional, able to communicate clearly, and comfortable working in a fast-paced restaurant environment. Responsibilities Greet guests in a friendly and professional manner. Manage the seating chart and waiting list. Seat guests fairly and efficiently. Answer phone calls and assist customers with questions. Take, confirm, and pack takeout and online orders. Double-check orders, drinks, sauces, and utensils before giving them to customers. Process customer payments accurately. Keep the host station, menus, and waiting area clean and organized. Communicate wait times and table availability to guests. Assist servers, bussers, and other team members when needed. Complete assigned side work before leaving. Qualifications Friendly and positive attitude. Good communication and customer-service skills. Ability to multitask and stay organized. Dependable and punctual. Comfortable using a POS system and answering phone calls. Able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as scheduled. Restaurant experience is preferred but not required.
