Event servers are responsible for food and drink service at hotel banquet functions. They make sure function space visually appealing and present the menu offering for the event. This may include linen and table setting, food station design, and beverage service. Other duties include general banquet preparation, room refreshes, and maintaining a sanitary environment. A Banquet Server plays a pivotal role in delivering exceptional guest experiences during events, weddings, meetings, and banquets hosted on property. This position requires professionalism, attention to detail, and excellent customer service skills to ensure the success of various functions. Banquet servers are responsible for serving food and beverages, setting up and maintaining event spaces, and providing top-notch service to guests. The primary responsibility will be food and beverage service, table setting, gauging and executing service timelines for guest events, upholding safety/hygiene in food and drink handling, integrity in service, venue maintenance, clearing/cleaning. The pay range for this position is an hourly rate of $4.00 to $4.60. This position is also eligible to earn overtime and service charges. Qualifications A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment. Must have physical stamina to lift moderate amounts of weight and stand for 8 hours at a time.
