Job Summary:
The Lead Server plays a pivotal role in ensuring the highest level of service in the restaurant. As a team leader on the floor, the Lead Server coordinates between guests, servers, Support, and kitchen to guarantee seamless service and memorable dining experiences. The ideal candidate is polished, professional, and passionate about delivering exceptional service and special experiences. They are a consummate team player, able to lead by example, and remain positive throughout service to all team members. Able to assist or lead in opening and closing duties when needed
Duties:
  • Continues to execute exceptional service for guests in dedicated section
  • Moves throughout dining room to monitor and support service execution
  • Observes Server and Support performance, able to weigh in to Manager requests for feedback on team performance
  • Contributes to service improvement initiatives
  • Maintains general knowledge of FOH operations, and ongoing expertise in food and beverage
  • Able to assist or lead in opening and closing duties when needed
Requirements:
  • Previous experience as Captain or Lead Server required
  • Must be available to work on Sundays
  • Familiarity with fine dining etiquette
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication skills to interact with customers and team members effectively
  • Proficiency in Toast
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to restaurant procedures and standards
  • Flexible schedule, especially on weekends
