Job Overview We are seeking a few energetic and dedicated servers to join our team at Pascolo Ristorante! As a Server, you will be the face of our restaurant, delivering exceptional guest experiences through attentive service, expert food and beverage knowledge, and a warm, welcoming attitude. This role offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your hospitality skills in a lively environment that values teamwork, professionalism, and a passion for fine dining. Duties Take accurate orders using Toast POS, ensuring all special requests and dietary needs are clearly communicated. Serve food and beverages efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness. Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales by recommending popular dishes, drinks, or specials. Maintain thorough knowledge of the menu, including ingredients and preparation methods, to answer guest questions confidently. Assist with food preparation, bussing tables, and supporting kitchen staff as needed during busy periods. Foster positive guest relations by providing attentive service, addressing concerns promptly, and ensuring overall guest satisfaction. Uphold sanitation standards through proper food handling practices and adherence to health regulations in both food service and restaurant environments. Experience Previous restaurant experience with a focus on food service or hospitality is required. Experience working with POS systems Fine dining or upscale restaurant experience is a plus but not required; enthusiasm for learning is essential. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours. Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices within the food industry. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport quickly with guests from diverse backgrounds. Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and billing procedures. Experience with reservation platforms like Resy is beneficial but can be learned on the job.
