Job Description
Duties:
- Greet and seat guests in a friendly and professional manner
- Take food and drink orders accurately and efficiently
- Enter orders into the POS system (e.g., Toast POS) for accurate billing
- Deliver food and beverages to tables promptly
- Ensure guest satisfaction by providing excellent customer service
- Assist with bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area
- Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure accurate and timely food delivery
- Handle cash transactions and operate the cash register
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a server or in a similar customer service role preferred
- Knowledge of OpenTable or similar reservation systems is a plus
- Ability to provide exceptional guest services with a positive attitude
- Basic understanding of culinary terminology and food preparation methods
- Strong math skills for accurate order taking and billing
- Familiarity with sanitation regulations to maintain food safety standards
- Must be able to work 4-5 days per week with weekend availability
